Full Members (Registered Home Inspector)

(RHI) Registered Members have demonstrated their proficiency by performing no fewer than 250 fee-paid inspections in accordance with the CAHPI Standards of Practices; they have also passed a series of written examinations testing their knowledge of residential construction, inspection techniques, report writing, and the Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.
 
Associate Members

Associate Members are working toward completion of 250 fee-paid inspections in accordance with the CAHPI Standards of Practices. They have passed all written examinations testing their knowledge of residential construction, inspection techniques; report writing and the standard of practice and Code of Ethics.
 
Applicant Members

Applicant members are working toward certification. Applicants have not yet passed all written examinations and may be at various stages in their number of inspection requirements. They are not allowed to advertise their membership or use the CAHPI logo.
